Livi Zheng made her film production debut in 2014 with Brush with Danger, a thriller about the complex world of martial arts. The film was released theatrically in the US and distributed internationally. Brush with Danger garnered international acclaim and the film was prestigiously recognized by the Los Angeles Times. 

Livi’s passion for martial arts, which developed at a very young age, served as the catalyst for her decision to pursue a career in film. After working as a stunt woman, Livi took her martial art skills to a competitive level and won 26 medals in the US, including at the US Open. She then went on to utilize her expertise in martial arts during the making of Brush with Danger. 

Livi’s most recent film, Bali: Beats of Paradise premiered at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Beverly Hills, USA, and played theatrically in the US and in Asia.

In between projects, Livi travels as a guest speaker on topics spanning film, culture and international business. To date, she has spoke at over 30 universities worldwide including Yale University, University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, University of California-Los Angeles, New York Film Academy, and Communication University of China.

Livi moved to the US and earned her M.F.A in Film Production at the University of Southern California; previously having earned her B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington-Seattle. Livi resides and works in the sunny Los Angeles.
